About Jessica Jones and QuickSandVB

JJSince the age of 14, Jessica Jones has been training, playing, and loving the sport of volleyball. Originally from Boardman, OH., Jessica attended college on a Division 1 volleyball scholarship to Ohio University.

Jessica started as an opposite hitter her first two seasons at OU before deciding to transfer on a volleyball scholarship to Florida International University. She started her last two seasons at FIU and had the honor of being selected to the All-Tournament team at the annual New Hampshire Tournament, elected team captain her senior year and also received her bachelors degree in Sports Management. While in college, she began coaching an 18U girls club team and an 18U boys team.

In 2005, Jessica moved to Las Vegas, NV. and started Henderson Volleyball Club. In 2010, she was the head coach for the boy's junior varsity team at Durango High School.

In 2011, Jones moved to Redondo Beach, CA. to pursue her love of beach volleyball, continue indoor coaching, and help promote youth beach volleyball in the South Bay. She is currently a professional beach volleyball player with the AVP and has her AAA rating with the CBVA. She has also played for the Jose Cuervo Professional Beach Volleyball Tour and the National Volleyball League.  

As of 2015, Jessica and her family relocated to McKinney, Texas. She is currently the beach program director and the 15's national blue head indoor volleyball coach for Elevate Beach Volleyball Club.
